Volvo opens its 8th Dealership in India at Kochi

Volvo India has climbed yet another step towards success by increasing its dealer network in the country inaugurating its latest showroom in Kochi with the help of MF Auto. While it has been able to establish its presence in diverse fields, the Volvo cars are well known for their safe and high quality cars. The Volvo cars in India are showcased in 8 cities so far including, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Bangalore and Kolkata with the recent addition of the dealership in Kochi. The sales outlet is vastly spread across the area of 2500 sft in a strategic location on the NH-47 that is well-connected to the city and other eminent business centers.

The Swedish auto major was in news as it said to give a thorough upgrade to its Volvo XC 90 SUV, which is likely to be launched in 2012. The 2012 Volvo XC 90 upgrade might include the redesigned interiors in terms of upholstery, door panels and new 18" wheels with silver finish. The car is likely to get bluetooth integration for wireless audio control. The Swedish auto major, Volvo is renowned for its commercial vehicle manufacturing including the buses, trucks and construction equipment. Volvo India currently offers four of its products – Volvo S80, Volvo S60, Volvo XC60 and Volvo XC 90. Volvo XC 90 is the maximum priced car in the country offered at Rs 49,50,000.
