Mahindra Verito latest update
February 04, 2016: Mahindra has unveiled the Verito Electric at the 2016 Auto Expo, New Delhi. This is an addition to Mahindra’s electric lineup, in which Mahindra e20 is also included. It was first showcased at 2014 Auto Expo and reportedly, the launch can take place later in February 2016. It incorporates the same 3-phase induction motor, which is used in Mahindra e20. This enables the car to attain a claimed top speed of 86kmph. After a complete charge of 7 hours, the Verito Electric can run all the way to 100 kms. Verito Electric acquires hill-hold and stand-still pick up as an added assistance to the driver. The car also grabs benefit from the FAME (Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Electric Vehicles) scheme that enables subsidies on electric vehicles.
