2012 Auto Expo to bring 60 vehicle launches, care on restricted flow of visitors

The organisers of the Auto Expo 2012 are making sure to make this event a huge success. The 11th Auto Expo is a big event not just for India, but also the global manufacturers where they get a chance to display their achievements at the event. The masses should pull up their socks to witness 50 different brands showcase their accomplishments as concepts or new cars at the upcoming event.  As for the launches, the crowd can expect 60 new vehicle launches across all categories.

However, the organisers do not want the history to repeat itself in the upcoming Auto Expo. If there was any inconvenience at the Auto Expolast time, it was the unlimited flow of visitors spoiling the flavour to certain extent. So, the Chairman of the Steering committee, Rajive Kaul hopes to bring about a solution to this. They intend to restrict the flow of the visitors to 100,000 a day, where 70,000 number is what they have in mind for the general public. The rest will be reserved for those who have business on mind. Apart from this, there would be 1,500 participants from 24 countries across the globe.

With more vehicle launches are expected to take place during this season, the crowd is also hoped to multiply from last time. The Indian Auto Expo is counted among the most prestigious events and volume wise, it stands to be the second largest Auto Expo after Shanghai Motor Show.
