2012 Chevrolet Cruze Facelift Launching on June 27th

We have been constantly reporting about the much awaited facelift version of Chevrolet Cruze Sedan, which will have major upgradation under the hood. Now we bring to you the big news for which everybody was waiting. General Motors is all set to launch the upgraded version of Chevrolet Cruze Sedan in two phases. In the first phase, it will be launched in Delhi on June 27^th and then in the second phase, Mumbai will witness the launch on June 29^th.


We have reported this earlier as well that the all new Chevrolet Cruze will house an upgraded engine. The earlier 1991cc motor engine will be replaced by the new 1998cc motor, which is capable of churning out 163bhp. And this time it will come mated to a 6-speed manual as well as  automatic transmission. Rest other features are expected to be the same, only minor changes are expected since the company is planning to bring in the complete makeover by early 2013. The reason behind this engine tweaking is apparent, the new engine will help the car in producing better fuel economy and effortless acceleration, thus a better drivability. The fuel economy is to go up, where the earlier version was producing the mileage between 9.8kmpl to 15.3kmpl, now it will be around 11kmpl in city and 15-16kmpl on highway.
