2013 BMW 7 Series, Price and Picture Gallery Revealed

BMW has disclosed the pictures for the facelifted 7-series saloon, which is due for the launch in the U.S.A by the end of 2012 or early 2013. Along with the pictures, they have also revealed the prices for the 2013 BMW 7 series saloon.

The regular wheelbase 740i will be priced at $ 74,195 and the long wheelbase 760Li will be tagged at $140,200 in the States. When converted in the Indian currency, the price of the 740i is approximately Rs. 41.7 Lakh and for the 760Li, the price is Rs. 78.8 Lakh.

The refreshed model, 760i will have the same 6.0-litre bi-turbo V12 which is capable of delivering 537bhp whereas the 750i will have a slightly tuned 4.4-litre turbo V8 which will churn out 444bhp of power. The 740i will however get a new N55 3.0-litre twin-turbo inline-six churning out 315bhp.

The all new ActivHybrid7 will see its way in with the launch of the refreshed 7-series. The ActivHybrid7 will be powered by 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six which works with the 54bhp electric motor. The combined output for this Hybrid will be 349bhp.

The model will have LED headlights and a slightly revised front fascia. A few changes will also be done to the cabin like the redesigned iDrive system, optional Bang & Olufsen High-end Surround Sound System and a digital instrument display which will be customizable. The new 8-speed automatic transmission has become a standard fitment and the suspension also has been upgraded.
