2015 Ford Mustang booking kickstarts

Folks, the wait is over! Ford dealers in US have started taking booking for the 2015 Mustang Fastback. The 3.7 liter V6 2015 Mustang range starts at $24,425 (approximately 14 lakh INR). The dealers will get the Mustang by the end of this year. In 50 years of Mustang's existence, it received numerous facelifts and newer generations but still today it retains the essence of the original heartthrobber 60's Mustang. “This car is all-new with enhanced sophistication and craftsmanship, but it still exudes the essence of Mustang that’s been honed throughout its history,” Steve Ling, Ford car marketing manager commented.

“From the six cities around the globe where we revealed the all-new Mustang, to auto shows to the recent 50-year celebration events, we’ve received an amazing response from people when they finally see the new model,” Steve added.

Several equipments are now standard on Mustang apart from the whole new exterior look and completely new chassis. It now features independent suspension setup, HID (high intensity discharge) lighting system with signature LED day-time-running-LEDs, individual tyre monitoring system, rear view camera, eight air-bags, leather wrapped manual tilt adjustable steering wheel, push button start, smart key-less entry and 4.2 inch high definition infotainment system with nex gen Ford SYNC with Applink voice command support for smart phones and two USB input, as standard.

The 50 years limited edition of the Mustang, introduced on its 50th birthday, can be opted in either Mustang Ecoboost premium or Mustang GT premium; fastbacks. The 50 years limited edition boasts original beauty's signature styling cues like characteristic chrome add-ons, original boot lid quipped fuel filler cap (fake) along with all the possible optional features Ford offers - all are standard in the limited edition. Only 1964 limited editions will be made for sale.

Mustang for the first time gets an EcoBoost heart, the brand new turbo charged inter-cooled 2.3 liter EcoBoost churns out 305bhp of maximum power and a whooping torque of 406Nm. The remaining two engines are carry forwarded from the previous generation but both are uprated. The 3.7 liter V6 gathers 300bhp and 366Nm of max torque. The supercharged 5.0 liter V8 musters in excess of 420bhp along with blistering torque of 528Nm.

Mustang celebrated its 50th birth anniversary at top of Empire State building reincarnating the original Mustang, which did it 50 years ago. Ford Motors and the pride of Manhattan the Empire Sate building celebrated 50 years of Mustang with 2015 Mustang drop dead gloating 1000 feet above the streets of Manhattan atop of the open air deck at Empire State building. They brought the parts of 2015 Mustang convertible assembled it all together, it took six weeks to put the car altogether.
