After much delay, the Audi e-tron range of electric SUVs is finally going to be launched in India on July 22. In preparation for this, Audi India has announced specially curated packages to provide an easy ownership experience for the brand’s first electric offerings.
The e-tron will be offered with a two-year warranty as standard and the battery pack is covered by an eight-year/ 1,60,000km warranty. Audi is offering the choice of extended warranty for two or three additional years. There are also four- and five-year comprehensive service plans available which cover the costs of service and periodic maintenance of the brakes and suspension. Audi is also offering five years of complimentary roadside assistance and promising its customers a lucrative buyback price for up to three years since purchase. Exact figures for the buyback program have not yet been shared.
The e-tron will be available in three trims at launch: the 50, the 55 and also the 55 Sportback . Its top trims will be offered with the 95kWh battery pack and a dual-motor AWD setup for a performance rating of 360PS/561Nm which can go up to 408PS/664Nm in Boost mode. This drivetrain variant of Audi’s electric SUV has a claimed WLTP (Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure) range of upto 440km and supports upto 150kW of DC fast charging.
