Deepa Malik Left Indore today on her Epic Journey

The WOW team reached Indore at 2AM today and retired for the night as they had to start early morning for Udaipur, the City of Lakes. They were flagged off from Vaishnav Academy School, Indore by Dr. Asha Mathur, IG Indore range.

Members of Madhya Pradesh Bank Employees Association were also present to honour the champion, at Vaishnav Academy.

Mrs. Deepa Malik looked fresh and ready for the next leg of the journey, especially after meeting her husband, Retd. Col. Vikram Singh Malik, in Dhule. She was in high spirits and had words of encouragement for other members of the WOW team accompanying her.

This one-of-a-kind drive, involving a modified Renault Duster where all the controls are operated by hand, has been undertaken for the first time by this lion-hearted lady.

The car has been specially modified for a differently-abled individual to drive, by the students of Sathyabhama University, Chennai, some of whom are part of the WOW team. It's a wonderfully motivated team, accompanying her on motorbikes as well as on the media car, following the lead car driven by Mrs. Malik. They are expected to reach Udaipur late in the evening today.
