Ferrari hosted over 60 owners and admirers of its mythic sports cars on a rally from New York’s Battery Park to Bridgehampton on the East End of Long Island, with the ultimate destination being the Bridgehampton Polo Club to celebrate the season closer and the gathering of these exceptional Ferrari models. The rally began on the southern most tip of Manhattan and took a northern route through the city, Times Square, Central Park South and over the Queensboro Bridge before pointing toward Long Island.
Drivers and spectators had the rare chance to hear the rich exhaust notes of a Ferrari motorcade echoing off Manhattan’s canyons as the procession made its way through the Big Apple's most iconic streets and sites.
Once outside the city and closer to the destination, rally drivers took to the country and farmland roads leading to the Bridgehampton Polo Club. Upon arrival in Bridgehampton, the Club provided an ideal backdrop to admire this rare assembly of the Prancing Horses' full line-up of current models as well as some notable classics. Included in the rally were Daytonas as well as an F40, 275 GTB, 250 GT Series 1 Cabriolet and Dino 246 among others.
In tribute to New York City hosting the rally, Ferrari made a donation to New York Cares, an organization that runs volunteer projects for 1,300 nonprofits, public schools and city agencies to help people in need throughout the five boroughs.
