Ford Sold 8,728 2015 Mustangs in November, off to a Scorching Start!

62% increment, a Mustang stays at dealer yard only for an average of 8 days!
Ford has sold 8,728 units of 2015 Mustang in the first full month of sales, leaving off the tail of its arch rival GM’s Camaro, with more than double the sales! The Blue Oval registers, 62 per cent increment in total sales of the Mustang compared to same time last year and best November sales (holiday season there) since 2006. The company says Mustang sales are up all over the country. Moreover, for the first time in pony car’s 50 years of legacy, it’s going global and even launching in several right hand markets from 2015, India is very much likely in the cards.
The major chunk of the sales were from the GT model featuring a beasty 5.0-liter V8, 52 per cent of the total November sales. The 3.7-liter Ti-VCT V6 accounts 24 per cent of the sales while debutante EcoBoost mill in the Mustang nameplate - an all new 2.3-liter 4-cylinder EcoBoost holds 24 per cent.
Export to Europe and Asia Now Under Way!
The company has delivered more than 20,000 2015 Mustangs fastback to dealers across the States and Canada. The Flat Rock Assembly Plant in Flat Rock, Michigan, where the pony is produced is already rolling in high gears to meet the soaring demand. Now, the company is prepping-up for export across the Atlantic.
