Honda new small car prototype to be unveiled at Thai Motor Expo

Auto major, Honda has announced that a prototype which reflects the direction of the New Small Car concept will be displayed at the 27th  Thailand International Motor Expo 2010. The company has planned for the world premiere of this prototype. This new small sized car has been decided to be launched in India and Thailand in 2011. The 27th Thailand International Motor Expo 2010 will commence during the end of November. This upcoming prototype of Honda will originate from the concept car which was displayed at the Auto Expo in Delhi, held in January this year. However the prototype in question will resemble the production version. According to Honda Motor Company Limited, the two distinct versions of the car will be displayed. The Indian model of the car will be exclusively developed for the small car market of India that has been growing continuously. The Thai version of the same will meet the fuel efficiency expectations of the auto market of Thailand.

This prototype from Honda will represent vehicle packaging which  is closer to the mass production model. The two different versions of the small sized car from Honda will be based on this prototype and will share the similar basic design. Apart from the prototype, Honda will also be exhibiting many other products like Honda Accord, Honda City, Honda Civic, Honda Jazz (called Honda Fit in Japan), Honda Freed and Honda CR-V.

Recently, the company has also decided to provide a minor facelift to its Honda Jazz model. This car, which is known as Honda Jazz in the Indian auto market and Honda Fit in certain overseas markets, will go through few cosmetic changes. These changes are expected to be done in both interiors and exteriors of the car. The cosmetic changes on Jazz model will provide minor modification upon the front and rear bumpers. The front of the Jazz will be redesigned. The rear light cluster will also be refreshed and redesigned. The new design will imbibe few slashes chrome, here and there which will make the model attractive and interesting.
