Hyundai bags prestigious CNBC TV18 Overdrive Awards

Hyundai Motor India Ltd the second largest passenger car manufacturer and the largest exporter has     received the prestigious CNBC TV18 Overdrive awards for 2012. The Eon has been awarded the Micro/Mini Car of The Year and the Verna bagged the Midsized Car of The Year award from Hon. Shri Bhupinder Singh Hooda, chief minister of Haryana on Thursday, December 8.

The Verna launched in May and the Eon in October this year adhere to Hyundai’s signature fluidic design sculpture. Fluidic sculpture   seeks to create an illusion of constant motion with contrasting surfaces. Both cars set new benchmarks in  design, space, quality   interiors and mileage. Commenting on the awards Mr. Arvind Saxena, Director Sales & Marketing, Hyundai Motor India Ltd said: “We thank CNBC TV18 Overdrive for acknowledging the Eon and the Verna. Both these cars have been very well received in the market.”
