Prior to the launch of Creta, Hyundai have released its elaborative brochure that contains complete details of the equipment. The much-awaited vehicle will be launched tomorrow, that is, 21st July. The compact SUV is expected to be priced between Rs 8.5 to 13.5 lacs (Confirmed prices Rs 8.59 lac to Rs 13.9 lac). Check below the major highlights of the leaflet.
Engine
With the brochure emerging, the motor with respective specifications are now confirmed.
- 1.6 litre CRDi diesel produces a hefty 127 PS of power and a peak torque of 260 Nm
- 1.4 diesel manages 90 PS of power in conjunction with a 220 Nm torque
- 1.6 litre VTVT petrol puts out 123 PS and 151 Nm of torque.
Variants
As the brochure suggests, there will be a total of nine variants, 3 variants available with the 1.6-litre VTVT petrol, 3 with 1.4-litre diesel and 3 with the 1.6-litre diesel. These variants will be spread across six different trim levels starting from BASE, S, S+, SX, SX+ and SX(O).
Safety
Creta’s launch is expected to bring a new benchmark for the safety credentials in India. It will be getting the basic safety features like ABS, EBD, Airbags as standard and advanced HIVE-structured bodyshell for added rigidity. While with the top trim one will be getting Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC) and Side and Curtain Airbags.
Color
Hyundai has made sure Creta offers adequate colors to suit different tastes. So, it is offered with a total of seven colors: Polar White, Sleek Silver, Mystic Blue, Red Passion, Phantom Black, Stardust and Pearl Beige. Moreover, there are two wheel options, one is 16-inch clean silver and one is 17-inch diamond cut, wrapped around with 205 / 65 R16 and 215 / 60 R17 tyres.
