Well, I know the title seems out of place, but when we go on taking certain variants of these three, we will find that they are similarly priced. Initially, I too thought that this won’t be justified to compare S Cross and Creta with a hatchback, that is, Jazz. But, when comparing these vehicles I came to know that how the top spec Jazz looked like a better option than the lower variant of the other two cars. The number bracket is Rs. 8.0 lacs to Rs. 8.8 lacs, ex-showroom New Delhi. So, let's put the variants of these three newly launched cars that fall in this price bracket into a comparison.
*indicative ex-showroom price, only for reference
Creta: For the SUV admirers!

Creta excels when it comes to looking like an SUV, with its contemporary setup, thanks to Hyundai's fluidic design 2.0. And for the ones who are looking for such looks, it will be a satisfactory car but, certainly not the best, because at this price, we are bound to take only the base 1.6 petrol. However, it will still be of great value in terms of road presence and performance. But then the low mileage of the petrol motor comes in the way and hits the desirability of this variant. And going up in its diesel lineup will shot the prices directly to over Rs. 9.5 lacs, that too in ex-showroom price.
S-Cross: A big Premium Car!
To sort out the petrol trim problem of Creta, one can look forward to the DDiS200 Sigma variant of S-Cross as it offers a diesel option in the similar price bracket. Since this one is the base variant, it lags out when considering in car entertainment, no music system- not even a basic one like in Creta. On the good part, it gets ABS, driver and passenger airbag as standard, making it a safe car to be in.
Jazz: The Value Deal!
**available only without Automatic
If you are looking for a value deal, loaded with all the creature comforts, is very spacious, handles well and is very frugal, then Jazz is a perfect option to go for. The boot just loses on one litre of volume as compared to S-Cross. At 354 litre, the boot of Jazz is a massive one considering it is a hatchback, also you get to play around with the magic seats that the top spec car gets.
