The new Toyota Etios Liva displayed at the Auto Expo literally took the breath-away. If you ask us why, its not because of the extraordinary exteriors appeal or the hatchback is made feature-rich, but the secret lies in the inteiors of the car. The orange and black combination of the new Toyota Etios Liva interiors are way too tempting a clear deviation from the boring grey color tones from before. The music system is also bettered in the new model which more or less had a dampening effect in the current model in total condradiction from the usual Toyota cars in India.

The disappointment in the Toyota Etios twins is more pronounced because despite the prolonged study of the Indian car market, the auto major more or less failed to gain the expected success with the Toyota Etios sedan and the Toyota Etios Liva in India. Toyota Kirloskar Motors has studied the Indian car market and the consumers passions from every angle and were right on one point that the low-cost cars appeal the most but failed to observe that the beige interiors and the enticing looks also act as a catalyst in making a decision on a new car purchase.

Toyota India hit right on target on the price factor as we can see decent cars with a reasonable Toyota Etios price and Toyota Etios Liva price around Rs 5 lakh and Rs 4 lakh mark respectively. All the same, the auto major fell right on face in gauging the customer expectations entirely wrong as Toyota India fell back on its usual standards disappointingly. However, Toyota India is set to win back the consumers hearts changing all that the Etios twins lacked before. The two Toyota cars are now much better ergonomically to do their job much calmly unlike the purring sound they used to make during the spirited drives.
