Mahindra Introduces Thar AC at Rs. 6.86 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi)

Exactly what the hot summer of India needed! The Indian auto giant, Mahindra seems to be on the same page as the citizens of the country and as an example it has just launched the AC version of its much favored jeep Thar in Mumbai. The new Mahindra Thar AC will flaunt an air-conditioner as well as a heater at a price of around Rs. 6.86 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi). At present this new feature has been included in the version which derives power from the 2.5-lite Common Rail diesel engine (CRde) and is capable of pumping out a peak power of 105 BHP at 3800 RPM and a peak torque of 247 Nm at 1800 RPM. However, the CRDi (common rail direct injection) version has not been rendered this new feature.

Coupled with a five speed manual transmission system this engine is BSIV compliant with revolution counter. The new Mahindra Thar boats the best air conditioner and heater available in the soft top category. On the inside it sports twin bucket seats for ultimate comfort, a power steering that ensures a pleasurable ride and Borg Warner transfer case. The car has a turning radius of 5.35 meters and supports genuine 4x4 accessories for the customizing of the vehicle. The compact dimensions of Mahindra Thar make it a convenient and easy car; the independent front suspension adds to the smoothness of the ride and eas of handling. Mahindra India has also revealed the Mahindra Adventure calendar during this launch.
