Mahindra XUV 500 SUV received an overwhelming response after its launch as the previous four months production of over 8,000 units was sold out in just 10 days span. Mahindra then suspended bookings and reopened it this year in January for a limited period of 10 days. The company’s management is now looking forward to increase its production from 2,500 units to 3000 units every month, but increase in production involves increase in supplies too, so this is going to be a gradual process taking another two to three months.
