Speaking of changes, a majority of them are cosmetic in nature. Starting with the front fascia, Mahindra has reworked the front grille, which now comes with a piano black finish. The air dam below that has also been reworked and now features a honeycomb pattern.

The headlamps have been tweaked and now feature LED DRLs and a smoked finish. Other updates include side cladding and an X-shaped spare wheel cover. The tail lamps now feature a clear lens cover. The gun metal finished alloy wheels, however, are carried forward from the pre-facelift T10 variant. Mahindra has added a couple of new exterior paint options (Highway Red and Mystic Copper) and it continues to offer optional dual-tone paint scheme too.

On the inside, it remains largely identical to the previous model save for the new silver accents. Mahindra continues to offer a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system but it does not get support for Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Another notable absence is the lack of automatic climate control.

The standard set of safety features remain the same as before, which means the TUV300 continues to come equipped with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX child seat anchors on all variants. However, Mahindra has thrown in a rear view camera into the mix this time around.

Under the bonnet, the powerplant remains the same 1.5-litre diesel engine that produces 100PS of power and 240Nm of peak torque. Earlier, it could be had with a 5-speed MT as well as an AMT. However, Mahindra is now offering the sub-4 metre SUV with just the manual transmission. This engine also used to be available in a lower state of tune (84PS/230Nm) before, which too was offered with an optional AMT gearbox. However, these options have been discontinued as well.

While the TUV300 does not have any direct rivals, its clashes with other sub-4 metre SUVs like the Ford EcoSport and Honda WR-V in terms of prices. Does the new styling of the TUV300 appeal to you?
