As per the latest speculations it is said that Maruti India is thinking to discontinue the manufacturing of the old Maruti Swift . The company had already said that the new model of the Maruti Swift will soon be coming to the market, and the company plans to offer only the new Swift in the Indian auto market. Not only this even the dealers of Maruti had stopped taking bookings of the old Maruti Swift. The company has already shifted the production of Maruti Swift Dzire from its Manesar plant to the Gurgaon facility.

Where there are rumours that the new Swift launch will take place in August, this new 2011 Maruti Swift has already got the bookings leading to elongate the waiting period of this new model by Maruti India. If the company would not have stopped the production of old Maruti Swift than it would have given a easy chance to them to price it bit higher than the old one. The buyers depending on their pockets would have purchased one of them.
