Maruti India is the largest and the most prominent car manufacturer in India. But, it’s not having gala time for now. Maruti India July car sales slashed by 25.34%, which it could sell only 75,300 units. The major reason behind such downfall in sales is the bad market condition and the terminated production of Maruti Swift, as Maruti India is all geared up to launch the newer version of Maruti Swift.

The Maruti car sales in July 2010 were 1,00,857, which is much more than the current July car sales. The older Maruti Swift was discontinued in the month of July 2011 and the new swift is currently being manufactured at the Maruti’s Manesar plant. This new Maruti Swift will be launched in the mid of August 2011. Till the month of July 2010, Maruti India managed to dispatch around 11,828 units of Maruti Swift and in the July 2011, Maruti India dispatched only 348 units, which is not at all impressive.Furthermore, even the production of Maruti Dzire was slashed by 5471 units in July as the production of Maruti Dzire shifted from Manesar to Gurgaon.
