Mercedes-Benz GLC Facelift Launched In India At Rs 52.75 Lakh

The facelifted GLC is the first Mercedes-Benz model in India to feature the MBUX infotainment system

• The GLC facelift is offered in two variants: 200 and 220d.

• It comes with 2.0-litre petrol (197PS/320Nm) and diesel (194PS/400Nm) engines.

• Features on offer include a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control and a panoramic sunroof.

• The GLC 200 is priced at Rs 52.75 lakh while the 220d retails at Rs 57.75 lakh (ex-showroom India).

Mercedes-Benz has launched the facelifted GLC in India at Rs 52.75 lakh (ex-showroom India). It was showcased at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year. As it is a facelift, it gets minor changes both on the exterior as well as interior.

Exterior updates include a reworked front grille flanked by updated LED headlamps, new sets of alloy wheels with sizes ranging from 17-inches to 19-inches, and reworked LED tail lamps.

Inside, you get a new multifunctional steering wheel with touch-based controls for the new 5.5-inch semi-digital instrument cluster and the new MBUX touchscreen infotainment system. It is also offered with Merc’s Interior Assistant System that uses a camera to capture the movements of the hand of both the driver and the co-passenger as it approaches the touchscreen or touchpad on the centre console.

The facelifted GLC also gets Augmented Video tech that uses a camera (located at the back of the rearview mirror) to capture the surroundings and show information regarding traffic signs and navigation on the infotainment display. A 360-degree camera, push-button start, driving modes and a panoramic sunroof are also a part of the feature list.

Safety features on offer include seven airbags, adaptive cruise control, active steering assists with active lane keep assist, active blind spot assist, and active brake assist.

The GLC facelift is available with a choice of two BS6-compliant engines: a 2.0-litre petrol and a 2.0-litre diesel. 

Mercedes-Benz has priced the facelifted GLC between Rs 52.75 lakh and Rs 57.75 lakh (ex-showroom India). It renews its rivalry with the BMW X3, Audi Q5, Volvo XC60, and the Lexus NX 300h.
