The German luxury car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has done something which it has never done before. After a long wait, Mercedes—Benz India has finally launched their AMG driving Academy in India for the first time at the Auto Expo 2012 to give the Mercedes-Benz car lovers and the others a hands-on Mercedes-Benz sports car driving experience at none other than the Buddh International Circuit in Noida. The driving academy from a luxury car manufacturer is a unique experience especially for the Indian consumers who had to travel all the way to Germany before for a professional training on the race tracks.
The participation fee at the Mercedes-Benz Academy is Rs 75,000 for the general public while the Mercedes-Benz customers can be a part of this four month program at a concession rate of Rs 50,000. Though the preference is given to the Mercedes-Benz car consumers to take part in the limited 16 seats for the program, the others can also have the race track experience in the classes where the drivers are groomed to the level to participate in the upcoming Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GTR3 competition in 2012. The participants can basically avail their free time during the weekends which is when the academy holds the training sessions though restricting it to a single session a month. So, now is the right time as any to enrol for the program which will soon to begin on March 16th this year.
There are three levels in the uniquely designed program for India where the participants can attain the proficiency of Advanced Training, Pro Training and Masters level where the latter offers the unparalleled expertise in handling the Mercedes Benz SLS AMG and Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 sports car. The Advanced training is basically to get the participants an insight on driving the race cars on race tracks where the basic driving techniques are taught like how to switch between the lanes and takeover the competitors steering away from the purposeful collisions.
The Pro training is a next level to the basic training program where the instructors will endow the participants with an in-depth knowledge of motorsports racing apart from the bonus of two and a half days unlimited driving experience on the race tracks of Buddh International Circuit. The Masters SLS AMG and SLS AMG GT3 program is a true masters degree in car racing, where the participant can realise his dream of racing a car at the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GTR3 competition. The participant will be closely guided by an instructor with the right guidelines to make an effective racing car driver.
