New Honda Accord to be launched next month

Honda India is all set to bring in the revamped car model of its popular sedan Honda Accord by next month in the domestic auto market. The all new refreshed version of Honda Accord will come with cosmetic changes to make it more stout and savvy among its competitors. The auto giant has already rolled out the sedan in the American car market.
The all new refreshed Honda Accord offered by the Indian arm of the Japanese auto manufacturer will come with new changes which will upgrade the looks of the sedan. The car has been given noted changes in its exterior and interior.

The 2011 Honda Accord is adorned with the changes such as the all new styled rear deck lid, a new front grille and the re-designed wheels. If looked at the interiors, the car is affixed with re developed instrument panel. Also for the ease, the buttons for the climate control have been shifted near driver's seat. The new car model Honda Accord is engineered to give better fuel efficiency against the existing car model. However, the new car launch will come with the same powertrain option in India which is a 2.4 litre with four cylinder and 3.5 litre C6 powertrain which has the capability of churning power of 177 bhp and 271 bhp. New Honda Accord car model will come in both automatic transmission and manual transmission similar to its predecessor. Currently, Honda Accord comes with a price tag of Rs 19,15,500 to Rs 27,68,831 (ex showroom, Mumbai).

This year Honda India will also be busy in increasing its already well established car portfolio. The company is coming with its first small car Honda Brio this year which is speculated to launch in September. The compact car is assumed to be priced under Rs 5 lakh (ex showroom, New Delhi). The new small car will be pitted against the established names in the domestic auto industry such as Maruti Swift, Ford Figo, Fiat Punto, Nissan Micra and Chevrolet Beat.
