New Maruti Swift speculated to launch on August 17

The new Maruti Swift is gaining quite a lot of attention these days. And adding on to this attention, some new information has been emergerd about this extremely popular small car. The brand new Maruti Swift 2011 is expected to be launched around 3rd week of August 2011. If rumors are to be believed, it might launch on 17th August 2011. The bookings are already flooding and people currently have 3 months of waiting period. Maruti India has put in its best efforts to add in superior features in the new Maruti Swift and it is being said that it has been successful to a great extent.

Two variants of new Maruti Swift will be made available to the consumers, one will be the 1.2 litre of petrol engine and the other one will be 1.3 litre of multi jet diesel engine. The petrol variant will churn out the maximum power of 89.6 bhp, whereas the diesel version will produce maximum power of 80 bhp. The petrol variant will be accompanied by 4 speed automatic gearbox.  The petrol variant of the new Maruti Swift will give a decent mileage of 21.5 km per liter, whereas the diesel variant will give a mileage of 25.8 km per litre.

The major new Maruti Swift features include in push button start, back wiper washer demister, Bluetooth connectivity, climate control, Aux and USB port, electric folding back view mirrors, audio controls mounted on steering wheel, 16 inch of alloy wheels in ZXi and ZDi models and 115 inch wheels in all variants of new Maruti swift excluding ZXi and ZDi. The new car will also come with xenon headlight and optional Sunroof.

In all, seven new models of the new Maruti Swift are expected to be available, which include Maruti Swift LXi, Maruti Swift VXi, Maruti Swift LDi, Maruti Swift VDi AT, Maruti Swift ZDi, Maruti Swift VDi and Maruti Swift ZXi. Even the price of the new Maruti Swift is expected to be reasonable. The Maruti Swift ZDi and ZXi model will apparently cost around Rs. 7.6 Lakh and Rs. 6.8 Lakh respectively. On the other hand, the other models of the new Maruti Swift are speculated to cost only Rs. 30,000 more than the old Maruti Swift. The new Maruti Swift will be available in different colors, which include black, white, glistening grey, silver, torque blue and blazing red. With so many exciting features, the only thing left now is to wait for the new Maruti Swift launch. Maruti India is even offering its consumers an option to convert their old Maruti Swift bookings to the new Maruti Swift. Some other successful models by Maruti India include Maruti 800, Maruti Alto, Maruti Wagon R, Maruti Zen Estilo , Maruti SX4 etc.
