New Maruti Swift to launch in August,facelifted Swift Dzire to follow later

Latest development in Indian automobile market states that Maruti India is all set for its biggest release of 2011, new Maruti Swift. As per reports, Maruti Suzuki is expected to launch its latest invent in the month of August this year which will be followed by Maruti Swift Dzire. It is worth mentioning that, after the launch of Maruti Kizashi and Maruti SX4 diesel, Maruti cars in India will be seeing another member in the family soon. According to relevant sources, Maruti India is launching the new Maruti Swift in the month of Indian independence and before the start of festive season. This move is taken with an aim of keeping an edge over new cars which are going to be launched during the festive season.

According to resources, Maruti Suzuki Swift is expected to come with an 'evolutionary design'. The car is most likely to come affixed with large headlamps, longer bonnet with a thicker crease line on either side. With no big visible changes in new Maruti Swift other than headlight and tail lamps, the detailed report on interiors is yet to be unveiled.

Furthermore, the new Maruti Swift is expected to be 90 mm longer, 10mm higher and 10mm higher with a 50 mm longer wheelbase than the Maruti’s current version. However, since the car is still under 4-metres, Maruti India is going to enjoy excise duty benefits completely.
