Skoda seems to be in full throttle right now with their Citigo Mini, Octavia Green Line II’s marketing and promotions and the recently presented, new Rapid. Octavia Greenline II is termed as the greenest Octavia with its 1.6-litre TDI engine and start/stop technology which is capable of delivering 32kmpl approximately with for the hatch and 28kmpl for the estate. On the other hand, Citigo Mini, which is based on the Volkswagen Up!, has 1.0-litre 3-cylinder engine that churns out 74bhp. Apart from these, the new Skoda Rapid that comes in three variants which are 1.6MPI engine with automatic as well as manual transmission option in petrol and the 1.6 TDI 5-speed manual transmission. The three variants deliver a power of 103bhp.

For the Octavia Green Line II they released the pictures where they show the steering wheel design and the instrument panel which looks like a happy face.

Citigo Mini is out with its new TV spot. The idea behind highlighting the automatic transmission feature of the Citigo is well presented in the commercial by using the idea that says “left foot is on a vacation” (because one is no longer required to keep the left foot busy on the clutch).

And this is not it for the Citigo, along with its TV commercial, it can also be seen in the video of the latest single by Anastacia which is called “What can we do.

Well, Skoda seems to be pretty active all around the world as of now, therefore one can assume India might also be on cards soon. Whether or not, let’s wait and watch.
