The new-gen sedan carries gets changes to the exterior but the cabin has been given a thorough redesign
The 2024 Skoda Superb has been unveiled globally and is expected to enter the Indian market sometime next year. It will mark the executive sedan’s entry back into the country after it was discontinued earlier this year. With its new Modern Solid design language, the new-gen Superb carries a lot of changes over the discontinued India-spec model, and you can check them out in this detailed gallery.
Front
Compared to the now discontinued India-spec version, the new Superb comes with a bigger and slightly redesigned grille. Here, the bonnet is slightly reworked, the LED headlights and DRLs are sleeker and the bumper has sharper cuts emerging from the headlights.
Skoda has removed fog lamps from the bottom, and the front bumper now has a diagonal chrome pattern.
Side
The side profile is more or less the same with some minor tweaks to the character lines. The panels, chrome around the window line and the quarter glass are still the same, but the profile now misses out on a chrome strip under the doors. If the new Superb looks bigger, it’s because compared to the previous generation, it is 43mm longer and 12mm taller.
The new Superb also comes with a new alloy wheel design, the sizes of which range from 16 to 19-inches. The old India-spec model had 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.
Rear
At the back, the new Superb gets sleeker C-shaped LED tail lamps with individual light elements. Skoda has also put its new logo, the boot lip is wider and the bumper and reflector panels have been redesigned as well.
Dashboard
Inside the new Skoda Superb, the changes are more significant. It gets a new layered dashboard with different cabin themes. The dashboard has vertical slats that hide the side AC vents and it features a curved design at the bottom which merges into the centre console.
This dash also houses a 13-inch free-floating touchscreen infotainment system compared to the 8-inch unit in the older version. It also gets a 10-inch digital driver’s display and a heads-up display.
The centre console now has a minimalistic design with minimal controls. The AC dials are still physical but also get haptic controls and smart display. Next, the drive-selector has been shifted to a stalk positioned behind the steering wheel. You also get a wireless phone charger in the middle and this centre console further merges with a central tunnel.

Front Seats
The interior textiles of the new Skoda Superb are made of 100 percent recycled materials and come with a new design and prominent contours. The front seats are still powered as the older version, but they now offer a massage function too.
Expected Launch & Price
The 2024 Skoda Superb will be launched globally early next year and it can be launched in India as a CBU (completely built-up unit) offering later in 2024. Skoda could price it from Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards and it will be a rival to the Toyota Camry. Meanwhile, the now discontinued Skoda Superb was last sold at prices of Rs 34.19 lakh to Rs 37.29 lakh (ex-showroom).
