Suzuki Ignis Features Detailed in a New Video

The India bound Suzuki Ignis has been featured in yet another video. This time, the video has details of the car's features and capabilities. Launched in Japan at 1.382 million Yen, which is roughly Rs. 8 lac, the car not only looks good but also packs some serious abilities. The car belongs to the newly formed category called ‘Micro SUV’ which currently has only one car, KUV100.
The latest video shows its different driving modes alongwith the 4WD option. The hill descent and rough terrain use the 4WD functionality to deliver power to different wheels when needed. It also features Dual Camera Braking System (DCBS), front, side and rear camera for parking assist and lane management system. The car also has ABS with EBD and airbags for passenger safety.
In Japan, the car is only sold with a 1.25-liter, four-cylinder K12C DualJet petrol engine with VVT and SHVS technology. The output is rated at 91 PS and 118 Nm of torque. The Japanese model is offered with automatic transmission having paddle shifters. The 4WD variant weighs 920kg and has a mileage of 25.4kmpl, whereas the 2WD version weighs 880kg and returns a mileage of 28kmpl.
When launched in India, the car is expected to be powered by the Fiat sourced 1.3L MultiJet diesel engine, which has an output of 75 PS and peak torque of 190 Nm. It is most likely to be retailed from the Nexa showrooms and will rival KUV100.
