Tata Motors is betting high on its upcoming compact sedan Zest. The compact sedan which was first showcased at the 2014 Delhi Auto along with the hatchback Bolt gathered a huge appreciation from the visitors. The official booking of Tata Zest is already started with an upfront payment of Rs 21,000. The car lock horns with Maruti Suzuki Swfit DZire, Honda Amaze and Hyundai Xcent. The company along with its media partner has hired total of 3000 staff at its 200 different dealership across the country.
Tata Zest features company’s new design philosophy 'DESIGNEXT', connectivity features 'CONNEXTNEXT', etc. This compact sedan gets segment first projector headlamps with LED parking lights and continuous strip LED tailamps. While interiors gets dual-tone dashboard in 'Java Black' and 'Latte' and a new speed sensitive electronic multi-function power steering. The car also embraces segment-first 5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, by Harman. This infotainment system comes with USB, SD card, Bluetooth and iPod connectivity and powered by 8-speaker system. Tata Zest also boosts automatic climate control with touch inputs.
The company is aggressively promoting its upcoming compact sedan Zest as recently, the manufacturer hosted a ‘Zestful Bollywood Pilgrimage’ – a unique virtual Bollywood Contest to promote the Zest. Its winner Mr. Alok Pandey have been given an opportunity to be a part of thrilling journey on a Zestful Pilgrimage; a fully sponsored trip accompanied by 2 of his friends in the month of August realizing their dreams of feeling like a star, making it their most Zestful moment.
Tata Motors has also intensifying the HR practices at the dealer hands to improve employee performance, recruitment, training and retention process. To make the customer understand the qualities of the car, Tata dealers will provide facilities of video walls and tablet PCs to the sales representative to ensure world class customer experience.
