Tata Nano CNG to launch by March 2013

The CNG version of the Tata Nano will be soon available in the market in the current financial year 2012-13 itself. Tata Motors have officially confirmed the news and will bring the car in the Indian market by 2012-13. Tata Nano CNG was unveiled in India at the New Delhi's Pragati Maidan in the 2012 Auto Expo. The Nano CNG version will help the car market to boost a bit after the price hike in petrol by March of 2013.
The engine of the Tata Nano CNG will be same of the non CNG version of Nano. The 625cc, twin-cylinder engine has the capability to run on both the fuel, petrol and CNG. The capacity of the fuel tank in the Nano CNG is of 15 liters for the petrol and 35 liters for the CNG. The new Tata Nano CNG has a safety feature of leak detection system. This system is capable to detect the leakage and can automatically cut off the supply of CNG. The price range of the 2013 Tata Nano CNG will be Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000 more than that of the non CNG version of the Nano.
The cars provided by Tata Motors are durable, easy to maintain, stylish and always in budget. The official launch of Tata Nano was in March 2009 as the World’s cheapest car. The Indian customers loved and appreciated this car since it has been launched. The car’s earlier versions had the engine in the rear end. Nano was a dream car, which Ratan Tata wanted to make within a price range of $25,000 which is Rs. One lakh.
