The new Jaguar XF will be launched long with Land Rover Freelander 2 which is also being expected to hit the Indian roads in the coming next months. According to the reports the Jaguar XF will be launched by the Tata Motors and Jaguar XF Diesel in India will be brought through completely knocked down (CKD) route. According to the industry reports if the Jaguar XF Diesel in India is assembled through completely knocked down route then it will cost  somewhere around Rs. 40 Lakhs in Indian car market.

With Tata Motors showing its interest in extending the dealership for the sale of Jaguar XF and Land Rover’s Freelander 2, which in India will be launched in cooperation with Tata Motors. Concentrating on the extension of the dealership network, it will help to increase the sales of both Jaguar XF and Land Rover in the country. The new Jaguar XF Diesel generates the power of 271 bhp at 600 nm. The car is loaded with all the luxury features as present in other popular luxury cars at an amount of Rs. 40 lakhs.
