Toyota to increase the sales through sales staff in growing markets   Toyota Motors, the world’s largest auto maker is looking forward to increase the sales in Asia and other regions. The company went through a hard time during year 2010 in the US market which is one of the biggest in world. The company is now targeting the growing markets and some reports claim that a 10% of the domestic sales personnel will be employed in these growing markets with a view to hike up the sales.

The reports says that around 100 reassigned personnel, will be working outside Japan for some time, and will also make surveys to the local markets as per requirement. These reassigned employees will be responsible of developing the sales networks along with the planning of new products and associated promotional activities. After the pre financial crisis in the US, many automobile companies including Toyota Motors faced a problem in smooth operations in the developed countries. As a result many of the auto companies turned back to the developing markets to sell their comparatively inexpensive car as these markets have great opportunity for them.

Toyota Motors is the biggest company of Japan and recently the company registered a smaller-than-expected drop in profits for the third-quarter of running financial year. The major reason for the boost in sales was the lower cost and high sales in the Asian auto markets. The company increased the production activity by 45 percent amounting to 550 billion yen for the complete year. Recently the company also launched its sensational compact sedan, Toyota Etios  which is attracting very high demand in the Indian auto market. The car broke all records of pre booking just within a week of its launch. The company is expecting good sales from this compact car.
