A Global survey had been conducted across several countries by an international consultancy brand called the Interbrand. It is to find the best Global green brand with respect to the environmental performance along with the people’s awareness of the brand. The survey result has come up with the Toyota Motors as the world’s greenest brand. This accomplishment is one of the many that Toyota is recognized for. With the global acclaim including its recent success with Toyota Etios sedan and Toyota Etios Liva hatchback, the Toyota Motors is the world’s largest auto maker.

The sample surveys had been conducted in UK, France, Germany, Italy, USA, Japan, Brazil and India. With the accumulated information, Toyota stands number one 64.19 points with 3M ranked as the runner’s up. The reason behind the Toyota Motor’s success in this survey has been contributed by their development of full hybrid technology, mainly with Toyota Pirus.

According to the report, the Toyota Motors main concern lies with environmental performance at the same time appealing to the consumers across the world. The Best Global Green Brands’ is a measurement methodology developed with the help of Delloitte so that the Green performance score designed to be considered across different industries. Interbrand apparently interviewed around 10,000 people across 10 of the world’s largest auto markets to measure perception of any of the brand’s green performance. It is also reported that Toyota Motors has recently installed a solar wall in its factories at Valenciennes, France and also intends to install a vehicle logistics center to understand the performance of a vehicle at Zeebrugge, Belgium.
