Toyota 'Q' World programe moves to Tier-2 cities

Toyota 'Q' World programme which was started two months back in Chennai is now ready to move to tier-II cities from May 2010. Toyota India earlier announced that it will hold the Toyota ‘Q’ World in 10 cities across India and now it has decided to take this programme to 10 smaller cities. The programme will be started in the month of May and is expected to be continue till July 2010. The Tier-2 cities where the 'Q' programme will be held includes Ludhiana, Jaipur, Surat, Coimbatore, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Indore, Kozhikode, Varanasi and Nagpur.

In this event the company will showcase is all portfolio models including its much awaited upcoming car in India, Toyota Etios. TheToyota  'Q' World programme started after auto expo was very successful in Tier-1 cities including Bangalore, New Delhi, Pune, Lucknow, Kochi, Mumbai, Chandigarh. Many top officials of Toyota were present at this event including Hiroshi Nakagawa (managing director), Sandeep Singh (deputy managing director, Marketing) and Koji Nagata (Executive Managing coordinator).

Toyota Etios, which was also showcased at the Delhi Auto Expo, will be launched by the end of this year and it is expected to be launched with a competitive price tag. The segment, in which the Toyota Etios will be launched is already crowded with some of the most popular cars in India including Maruti Swift, Maruti Ritz, Hyundai i10, Hyundai i20, Ford Figo and Volkswagen Polo.
