Toyota Motors dosn't seem to be coming out of trouble in near future as now its Korean subsidiary is going to recall more then 13,000 cars sold in the South Korean market, due to potentially dangerous defects surfaced in these cars, as per the transport ministry of Seoul. The recall includes three famous cars of Toyota Motors, the Lexus ES350, Toyota Camry and Camry Hybrid.

According to ministry statement on its website, the recalled cars have mats that could hamper safe operation of the accelerator pedals. This is not the first time that accelerator pedals related problems have surfaced in Toyota cars, as a month ago Toyota recalled around 8 million cars world wide and most of these vehicles had the similar problems.

The 12,984 affected vehicles includes 11,232 units of Lexus ES350s, 1,549 units of Toyota Camry and 203 Toyota Camry Hybrids. According to ministry the car owners can get free repairs from designated service centres from April 19.

In India, Toyota has recently launched its hybrid car, Toyota Prius and it is also in the process of launching a premium hatchback Toyota Etios by the end of this year. Both of the cars received vary good response at the Delhi Auto show, in January, but these incidents of recalls will certainly affect its brand image in India market.
