VDA QMC Appoints TUV SUD to Train Automotive Auditors in India

The German Association of the Automotive Industry-Quality Management-Center, VDA QMC, has appointed the South Asia-Academy Division, TÜV SÜD as a partner to help them deliver approved training and qualification modules in VDA 6.3, in India. For the benefit of all, the VDA 6.3 process audit is a standardized procedure for conducting process audits within quality management system and asses the performance and the capability of the audits done. This will shortly be delivered, where it will start with the training of the automotive auditors on the basic principles, process and auditing in the automotive industry. The course will be completed with a qualification examination.
This system has been used by German Automotive OEMs and they have been appreciative about this course especially as an excellent monitoring tool for their supply process monitoring. The aim of the program is to present a unique assessment method which will impact the industry in a positive manner by improving processes. On the occasion of the announcement, Niranjan Nadkarni, the CEO, TÜV SÜD, South Asia said that they were honored with the responsibility that the VDA QMC has endowed upon them and with this they will bring the best practices closer and add value to the complete value-chain. The TÜV SÜD Academy has been functional in India since 2008 in the field of training and skill development with a range of programs being offered for sectors like automobile, engineering, textile, food, oil & gas etc. VDA QMC, oriented towards the quality management of day to day issues in the automotive industry.
