The German auto giant Volkswagen’s dream to become the world’s number one car manufacturer is not far away. The auto major with its subsidiaries Skoda Motors and the luxury brand Audi are just short of reaching their sky high dreams after the remarkable growth recorded in the month of October with 67.30 % in India. While rest of the manufacturers were having a hard time garnering growth in the country during an unusually slow car market, Volkswagen stood out to be the knight with the shining armour enhancing their growth.

The company has recorded 1.89 million vehicle sales in the first ten months of this year with sufficient help from Skoda and Audi contributing to the success with enough numbers.

However, Volkswagen’s dream seems to be more tangible now than ever with or without the intervention from Suzuki Motors.
