2015 GTA Spano becomes the first super car to feature ‘graphene - a thin layer of pure carbon’ in its components!
GTA, Spanish super car maker has announced that the new Spano will debuted at the 2015 85th Geneva Motor Show, in first week of March. GTA has also released a teaser pic of the new Spano and is flaunting its absolutely menace rear. Wondering about GTA Spano - slightly faint memory - to your rescue - the current GTA Spano was featured in the last year’s flick - Need-For-Speed-The-Movie among other heart pumping super cars.
The 2015 Spano will be powered by an in-house developed - massive 8.0-liter twin-turbocharged V10 motor. The 7,990 cc engine musters a hefty 925 horses and a tarmac shattering 1,220 Nm of peak torque. This blistering set-up propels the 2015 Spano from standstill to 100 kmph in mere 2.9 seconds before hitting a top speed of 370 kmph (230 mph). The current Spano is powered by a 8.4-liter supercharged V10, generating 900 bhp and 1000 Nm. It clocks 0-100 kmph in 3 seconds with a top whack of 350 kmph (217 mph).
GTA Motors also promises that new Spano, apart from the entirely new design features graphene (a thin layer of pure carbon) in its various components - ‘GTA Spano has becomes the first super sports car in the world to incorporate this technology into several of its components’.
