AMW Motors Wins Three Awards from Manufacturing Today

AMW Motors Ltd. (AMW), India’s third largest heavy commercial vehicle manufacturer bagged three coveted awards at the first “ Manufacturing Today” awards function held in Pune on November 23, 2012. AMW won the top awards for Excellence in Technology Adoption (Large Enterprises) and Excellence in HR (Large Enterprises) and was also declared Runner-up in the category, Excellence in Sustainability (Large Enterprises).

Mr. Anil Singh, Executive Vice President, AMW received the awards on behalf of the company and said “ It is a great honour to be recognized at the inaugural award function itself. The award is a reiteration of AMW’s firm belief in innovative technology and the importance it attaches to its team of committed people, who have strived for excellence and placed the customer at the focus of everything we do.” The award ceremony was part of a conference “Indian Manufacturing and Productivity” where large industrial houses like Mahindra, Bajaj, Kirloskar and a number of SMEs participated and vied for recognition in various categories.
