Bajaj and Renault ultra low cost car again on track

Bajaj Auto One of India's largest two Wheeler manufacturer is all set to launch its ultra low cost car in India with Mahindra Renault Motors. According to news reports leaving behind all differences both companies now eagerly working on this plan. The main reason in the delay of the car was some car branding and basic concept of the car related differences. to clear these differences CEO of Nissan, Mahindra Renault, Carlos Ghosn met Bajaj Auto MD Rajiv Bajaj.
The Joint Plan of Bajaj-Nissan-Renault was announced In year 2007. All of these companies are working on small car plans for two years now. But some time back the project was halted because of some issues related to Branding, Product details and basic concept of the model.
It is expected that the car would be launched under the price tag of $2500. After success of Tata Nano in India many major car manufacturers are looking to grab the market share in low income class and lower middle class which is present in a wast number in India and the Tata Nano model will be main competitor of this ultra low cost car.
