Powertrain
In the South African market, Citroen is offering the C3 with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine that churns out 82PS and 115Nm and is paired only with a 5-speed manual transmission. The India-spec C3 also comes with a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine with a 6-speed manual that makes 110PS and 190Nm.
Features & Safety
Compared to the India-spec C3 Feel variant, the South African model gets no new features. The hatchback offers a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, halogen headlights and DRLs, manual air conditioning and steering-mounted controls.

In terms of safety, it comes with basic equipment like dual-front airbags, ABS with EBD and seat belt reminders for front passengers. However, the India-spec Feel trim gets more safety features with its turbo-petrol variant like tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), electronic stability program (ESC) and hill hold assist.
The India-spec Citroen C3 is priced between Rs 6.16 lakh and Rs 8.92 lakh (ex-showroom) and is a rival to the likes of Maruti Wagon R, Maruti Celerio, Tata Tiago and the upcoming Hyundai Exter.
