Datsun Go+ compact MPV launched in Chennai at Rs.3.79 lacs

After the national launch in Delhi yesterday, Datsun Go+, the first sub-4-meter compact MPV in India, has been launched in Chennai today priced from Rs.3.79 lacs ex-showroom. The Go+ gets estate car styling offering a 3rd row of seats that can also be used for luggage, all under 4-meters in length. The Go+ gets features such as smart meter with gear shift indicators, follow me home headlamps, speed sensitive wipers, ventilated front disc brakes and mobile docking station. The Datsun Go+ is powered by the same engine that runs the Go, a 1.2-litre petrol engine making 68 PS and 104 Nm.
Speaking at the launch, Mr. Guillaume Sicard, President - Nissan India Operations, said “Datsun Go+ is a compact family wagon that ensures more comfort, flexibility and practicality. 25% of Indian passenger car market is ruled by the cars in B-segment. And Datsun is looking at this segment to grow one step at a time.”
He also added, “By the end of 2015, the number of Nissan-Datsun dealerships will reach 160 from the current network of 128.”
