The Italian Car giant Fiat is in news these days with the dramatic reshuffle of its executive team. Fiat is well known company running Fiat 500, Fiat Punto, Fiat Linea, Fiat Palio and Fiat Palio Stile Multijet smoothly on the Indian roads. Following the heartbreaking news from Fiat that there will be no new Fiat models to be launched until 2013-14, we get to hear another sad news that the Head of Sales left the company amidst the deal with American Chrysler for acquisition. The Turin-based company intended to use rejuvenated Chrysler models to snatch back the market share from European rivals.

The Italian car manufacturer, Fiat Auto is definitely not satisfied with the way the operations in India are being handled. Fiat Auto resurrected itself in the Indian auto industry as a joint venture with Tata Motors. According to that joint venture, Tata Motors were responsible to carry out marketing and after-sales servicing of Fiat vehicles in India. The Chrysler and Lancia are the new brands to integrate with Fiat to boost their sales networks and distribution efficiency of new models, spare parts and not to forget, after sales servicing. Fiat India team is optimistically restructuring its board, with two directors leaving, three joining and another three getting extra responsibilities.
