Ford Ecosport features revealed, Chevrolet Enjoy launched

Ford has finally revealed all the features that it will offer on the Ecosport and we will soon share our review on 13th of May in our Expert Review  section. The Ecosport’s 1.0-litre engine is the one we drove. Apart from this, Chevrolet launched the Enjoy MPV with 1.4-litre petrol and 1.3-litre diesel engine options. 

In other major news, we share some insight on Mahindra’s new upcoming compact SUV and the Mini diesel has been launched. Honda introduces another variant on the Brio and we get the images of the Skoda Superb facelift. Ford Ecosport details revealed. Image gallery of the SUV 

Ford Ecosport has been the talk of the town for a while and people have been waiting for the launch of this SUV for a long time. The Ecosport will be offered in 3 engine options, 1.0-litre EcoBoost, 1.5-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel. It is the 1.5-litre petrol that will be offered with petrol and diesel engine options. GM bets on Enjoy MPV and Sail sedan; hopes to cross 1 lakh units in 2013 

General Motors India has finally launched its much-awaited multi-purpose vehicles 'Enjoy' in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs. 5.49 lakh. The company hopes to cross one lakh car sales mark this year. The American auto maker also has Sail sedan, which has been doing decent business and already bagged 10,000 bookings, and now the firm has Enjoy MPV with aggressive pricing in the fast growing utility vehicle market. Volkswagen Cross Polo Spotted in India, to Rival Duster and EcoSport 

Volkswagen India that has recently launched the 105bhp hot-hatch Polo GT in India is now gearing up to launch the off-roading capable Cross Polo in India to excite touring lovers. And like we told you in our last story that Volkswagen is doing preparation to bring in the Polo-based crossover, which not only looks rugged, it has what it takes to make everyone fall in love with it. Now our friends at IndianCarsBikes have managed to click the spy picture of the car, while its test-run around VW's Chakan, Pune based plant. Mahindra Launches H-Series Xylo in India at Rs. 8.23 lakh 

After teasing the Mahindra Xylo H-Series on its official Facebook page, Mahindra & Mahindra has now finally launched the H-Series Xylo in India for Rs. 8.23 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The Xylo H-Series has been made available in three variants H4, H8 and H9. The H-Series Xylo will now be made available in dolphin grey colour. The H8 and H9 are priced similar to that of the outgoing E-Series Variants. The Xylo will now sport the more powerful mHawk engine that does its duty to all the Scorpio LX and above variants. Jaguar to introduce the F-TYPE Coupe soon 

Jaguar will launch the F-TYPE Convertible in India by sometime in July, however the company has been working on the Coupe version too. The Coupe version testing is in its final stages and it won’t be long before we see the hard top versions on road. Read more

Ford EcoSport Sports Emergency Assistance System; Bookings to Open Soon 

Ford EcoSport is no doubt the most-awaited compact SUV in India, which is likely to be launched by June 2013. The American auto maker is leaving no stones unturned promoting this vehicle to make it a big hit. It is also expected that Ford EcoSport bookings will commence from June. BMW Launches Mini Countryman Diesel in India 

The German auto major, BMW that commenced local assembly of Mini Countryman in India at its Plant near Chennai, has now rolled out the Mini Cooper Countryman D (Diesel) model in India. Launched in two versions- the Countryman and Countryman high, they will be sold at Rs. 25.60 lakh and 28.9 lakh respectively (ex-showroom, Mumbai). Read more 

Honda Cars India introduces refreshed variants of Honda Brio 

Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) today introduced new variants of Honda Brio with key upgrades to make the car more convenient, comfortable and pleasurable to drive for its customers. The upgrades include a Driver Seat Height Adjuster to enhance the overall driving comfort and a Rear Windshield Defogger as an additional safety feature.  Both these features were found to be amongst the most desirable features in the Brio based on the customer’s feedback.
