The tinted glasses on cars are banned by the government but the law could not be implemented. Although, traffic rules are always updated and discarded but still there are less number of people who follow these rules. Sometimes back Helmets were made compulsory but the rule is still not followed properly in many cities of India. The law against the tinted glasses cars has been brought into consideration from yesterday and we are hoping that the law will be followed more seriously and people will be conscious towards this law.
From yesterday onwards the Chennai police is fining all the cars with black films pasted on their car window glasses. The clear car glasses are a preventive measure for avoiding atrocious crimes and to expose off all the trouble makers, who have taken cover of these car window glasses. The police has decided to give one chance to the offenders to remove the tinted films from the glasses.
Chennai police have installed the sign boards to bring about the awareness of the Supreme Court’s order amongst the population. The order is in effect from 27th of April and the sign boards have been implemented to almost every important junction of the city. For the first time, the offenders will pay Rs. 100 as the Fine and if the offender repeats the same he or she has to pay Rs. 300 as Fine. The black films can be physically removed by the police as per the orders of Supreme Court.
