Maruti Wagon R gets a facelift

The New Wagon R is all set to outplace its current model by the month of April, 23th of April to be precise. The new version of Maruti Wagon R will be equipped with a 1 litre K series engine that powers its other car models namely Maruti A Star and Maruti Zen Estilo.

The exteriors of the all new Wagon R have gone through some serious changes in the front end like round edges in place of the square ones which is interesting since it seems that the car is smiling which also reminds us of Zen Estilo. The redesigning of the front grille has been done so as to provide space for the engine to breathe by providing more air-flow to it. The front grille of the older version that looked like a slot now has had a face-lift and has a one-piece design.

Talking about the interiors now, the all new Maruti Wagon R now sports a chassis that's stiffer making the handling all the more simpler as compared to the current version. Also added are dual-toned interiors increasing the appeal of the interiors exponentially. The aluminium touches all around the interiors of the car gives it a more classy look. With new steering and console that is much similar to Swift, Wagon R has gone steps ahead to compete with its contemporaries.

With all the new additions and up gradations, its commendable that Maruti has retained the car's toughness, tall roof line and other advantages that it already had in its previous versions. The designers surely need a good pat on the back.
