Mercedes-Benz India is pretty excited about the new models it is going to bring for a launch and display at the Auto Expo 2012. The German car manufacturer boasts of five new models in all where the superfluous Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG roadster super car is the only model slated for a launch in the Indian car market. The strikingly attractive stream-lined roadster with the gill-like air ducts on the sides of the Mercedes Benz SLS AMG roadster super car are offered only to add to the oomph factor of the super-efficient sports car globally available to make the first time debut in the country. The car matches up with the perfect lines of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG coupe we are so well aware of.
The all new Mercedes-Benz M Class will once again make a foray into the country with its amazing road presence to embark upon its third-generation presence with a tweaked but same 3.0L diesel powertrain for a better power and torque numbers this time. The German luxury car manufacturer will bring the all new Mercedes-Benz S Pullman 600 Limousine to India for a display which will soon replace the void created by the yet to be phased out Maybach Limousine brand of Mercedes globally. Mercedes-Benz had recently announced its plans to discontinue the Maybach brand from 2013 due to its low sales across the world.
As a perfect answer to the BMW’s foray into hatchback segment with Mini brand in India, Mercedes-Benz has its own ace card to play in form of Mercedes-Benz B-Class hatchback/Crossover. There is a certain mystery surrounding the new concept from Mercedes-Benz this season with the Mercedes-Benz A-Class concept which we will only get to see at the 2012 Indian Auto Expo at New Delhi.
