New 2013 Mercedes-Benz GL Launch on 16th May

Mercedes-Benz has officially announced that the 2013 GL model will be launched in India on May 16. The new GL is basically an updated version of the current model, but the looks have changed considerably. The new 2013 GL appears like the current M-Class, and the front of the car features a daytime driving lights. More Interestingly, Boris Becker the legend will be here in India to launch the new SUV. The company also started a contest on Mercedes-Benz Facebook page, through which a winner would get a chance to meet the Tennis Legend Boris Becker. Despite higher power and torque numbers, the 2013 GL350 CDI is now 20 per cent more fuel efficient in the European driving cycle, and it is 90kg lighter than the current model. The luxurious Merc also sports an option surround view, which gives all around view to driver via four different cameras placed on the car. The electronically adjustable third row seats are also comes as standard. 

The new 2013 GL model also comes equipped with features such as electrically-controlled steering, electric parking brake, and an optional audio system & Olufsen with 14 speakers gives an output of 1200W. The exact pricing details of the car is yet to be announced by the company, but we expect it to be priced little more than the current generation GL Class.
