Nissan Sunny to enter the Indian market by 2011

Nissan Motors the auto mobile makers on Monday unfolded the auto giants new global saloon in the 8th China International Auto Exhibition. The Nissan Sunny will be coming in January 2011, in the Chinese auto market and in India it will hit the Indian market by the second half of the coming year. The new sedan will be produced in the Nissan Motors Chennai manufacturing unit, revealed by the company sources in a statement. In the Chinese auto market, the sedan will be christened as “Sunny”. As per the company, the other specifications will be declared during the launch date. As per the Japanese auto giants, it will bring the sedan in almost 170 countries under the various automobile car brand names. The car is expected to be reaching out to excellent fuel economy in the mid size segment and will be favourite among the sedan lovers. The new car is well equipped with 1.5 litre HR15DE powertrain which is sure to churn out great power and maximum torque.

Kiminobu Tokuyama, the Managing Director and CEO in Nissan Motors India, the company received an over whelming response in the first locally made hatchback Nissan Micra. He added that, the auto company is sure that to again spread the magic by the new global saloon and will again lure the Indian buyers. The Nissan Motors unveiled the company's production unit at the Oragadam near by Chennai with its partner Renault with a massive investment of Rs 4,500 crore for seven years which has an installed capacity of 2 lakh cars. The auto maker commenced the manufacturing of the hatchback Nissan Micra for the Indian auto markets as well as global auto markets.

The Nissan Sunny is manufactured on Nissan V platform which ensures the cars reliability and durability. The new sedan Nissan Sunny was firstly unveiled in the Chinese Auto market during the year 2003 and then claimed to the company's first car manufactured locally in venture with Dongfeng Nissan. The new saloon from the Nissan's stable is to give a pure driving pleasure with comfort and luxury and excel in technology which will stand out the Nissan Sunny from its competitors.
