Suzuki denies rumors to break alliance with VW

Suzuki is a well known name not only in India but all over the world. Recently Suzuki Motor Corporation stated that it has no plans at all to end its alliance with Volkswagen. Earlier there were certain reports in the Indian car market that Suzuki is ending up its partnership with Volkswagen. But according to Suzuki, the Suzuki VW alliance is very much alive.

The alliance between Suzuki and Volkswagen was signed in the year of 2009 as equal partners. But the reports of splitting up were denied by Suzuki this Monday. However, it was quite public that the relations between the 2 firms were a little sour in the month of July. And the reason behind this was the executive VP of Suzuki; Mr. Yasuhito Harayama declared the firm’s independence and asserted that both the companies will think over the partnership again.

This statement encouraged Volkswagen to state that the firm will not trespass on Suzuki’s sovereignty. So far, as per the statement by Suzuki, the partnership is not in danger and the Suzuki VW alliance is very much there.In India, Volkswagen is offering numerous cars, which include Volkswagen Polo, Volkswagen Passat, Volkswagen Jetta and Volkswagen Bettle.
